Meet Your Baker

My name is Ava Samuel—I’m 18 years old, a senior in high school, and the proud owner of Ava Marie Homemade Goodies. While my age might not be the most important detail, what is important is that I’ve been running this small online baking business since April 2021, and it’s been growing ever since.

Like many others, my love for baking really took off during the quarantine. I started baking something new every single day—and let’s just say the people in my household definitely felt the effects (kidding… kind of). What began as a fun way to pass the time turned into a real passion, and I never imagined I’d turn it into a business—let alone one that brings so much joy to others.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s placed an order, shared my business, or simply cheered me on. Since launching, I’ve grown so much—not just as a baker, but as a person. It hasn’t always been easy balancing school, my personal endeavors, and growing business, but nothing makes me happier than knowing that something I made brought a smile to someone’s face.
